Institute of Transportation Studies, UC Davis

Objectives:

1. Identify the energy and environmental costs and benefits of e-bikes.
   
2. Determine how they are affecting mobility in China’s urban areas.

3. Understand how the evolution of e-bike technology over the past 10 years can teach about the transition to personal cars in China over the next 30 years, and the transition away from petroleum fuels in the US and around the world?
